maybe it was something to do with PR, marketing - the link between karting/grass roots motorsport and F1, consultancy - who knows.

If the Ł38k is for capital items then they surely will need to write that off whereas if it's for time, effort, advice etc then it won't have the same impact.

Wonder if 3S and other creditors can apply to Gordon Brown plc asking for a bail out in light of the debacle that was Donington?
