"how about holding this year's agm at the grande finals, say on saturday night at llandow. that way, it'll encourage the competitors to come along and have their say. "
You seem to miss the point. The 'members' of the NKRA are the clubs, not the drivers, because it is a Club Championship, run within the framework of a normal club meeting. Part of the aim is to strengthen the link between clubs and drivers, not to replace it with something else.
The Clubs can send a number of representatives to the AGM etc.
If you want to have a say, then get onto your club and talk to the club's NKRA liaison man. Of course, it could be your opportunity to volunteer if the post isn't being filled at the moment or if the current incumbent is willing to stand down.
Then your club can be a leader in communications and no doubt you would be energetic in promoting the NKRA at the club, wouldn't you?.
