Ever since the introduction of restrictors in formula blue have we had these discussions, people threatening to leave complants of unfairness etc after a restrictor change. Get real this is a good series, do proper testing and you can get the results. Having completed at the front end of senior blue,we usually found that you could go just as quick on the new restrictor size if you tested properly ie Gearing comparisons Exhaust length Carb settings Do not rely on straight back to back testing of just swopping the restrictors. Also often overlooked in blue is engine coolant temperature if this is not upto the correct range then performance will be lost. This is where most races are won as the correct coolant temp on the first lap is critical to get that edge.
