you will need a quick medical with your GP as this is the first licence after your 18th birthday-ring the surgery and ask them , they mormally have a standard scale of charges depending on how long the medical would take and how complex the form is- it doesn't take very long and the form is straight forward . I can get it done in 15 minutes for our patients and I don't charge our club members but I would expect that other surgeries do see these sports medical checks as an income generator but it shouldn't be extortionate .You can try and negotiate a fee I would think if you are still in full time education. Remember to take a pee sample .
