It's not so much evidence of being ripped off, but the certificate is signed by a professor who works/resides in SW1. Surely the fees of this doctor are greater than Dr Bloggs, and quite unnecessary seeing as my Doctor has already stated what my medication is.
As Steve has stated, conditions which are going to continually effect you, with no change from year to year, shouldn't be chargeable on a yearly basis.
Certainly if the condition changed, it should be the competators responsibility to inform the MSA, which, if needed, could involve a one off fee for admin purposes.
