i think this is a simple one, if its quicker across a kerb people will run it chasis protectors or not.

the problem is that the wealthy will then replace the flat chasis every couple of meetings and the budget racer will end up running the kerbs on his bannana shaped chasis, presuming it still handle well enough to even hit the kerbs!!

therefore creating an even bigger gap between the wealthy and the budget racer, and in turn meaning that even more of the latter leave the sport..

therefore the only solution is to allow them, or build the kerbs so there is no advantage.

simple lol
