Dave, you have read my post and obviously disagree with quite a bit of what I have written. Let me start by saying that you are entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine.
Having read your reply there are a number of points that I would like to clarify.
You ask "how can you say there is little or no support for MSA racing in the North East"?
The answer to that is very simple if we stick to facts.
MSA racing died a slow death over several years at Warden Law due to a chronic lack of entries. This is borne out by Ian Lawson's post further down in this thread and the same situation was evident this year.
Your point about "how can any club or business for that matter show a forecast of things to come in in only one year of racing" causes me some concern. Any club or business that achieves success will have a business plan in place based on forecasting / predictions and I very much doubt that DYKC did not have such a plan. Your opening sentence in your post does pose the question was this plan flawed from the very start?
Nowhere in my post did I state that that non MSA racing is better than MSA racing. We have done both this year including racing at DYKC meetings and will race in both categories next year. We just enjoy racing at a variety of circuits against different drivers.
The more people that race the better in whatever type of racing they want is my point of view. Live and let live but don't get carried away by thinking that MSA drivers are fundamentally better than non MSA, some are and some are most definitely not.
At no point did I state that "they didn't pay the going rate" to the circuit owner to run their meetings. You refer to "another agenda"in your post. If one existed I knew nothing of it and was certainly not part of it.
You use such words and phrases as "what a load of rubbish", "C@~p, and "ridiculous" when commenting on my posting. I suggest that you read it again and focus on what was actually written rather than what you have inferred on here.
Come to think of it those words and phrases are very descriptive of your outpourings!
