lets not forget that the club was started at a time of the year when everyone had planned their years racing, i think in terms of that fact, The club did all they could to, in your words "grow MSA racing in the north east"
yes they "publically failed" but not thru their own fault.

quite simply they were not given a chance and were never in control of their own destiny!

how can you say there is "little or no support for MSA racing in the northeast"? maybe that is because there isnt any MSA run events locally and you have got to travel to take part.
How can ANY club or buisness for that matter show a forcast of things to come in only one year of racing? its ridiculous. The club never failed it was scrapped.

im sorry but that statment is a load of C@~p.
im certain that given next year it would have been a different story.

there is noway that NON MSA racing is better than MSA racing! you dont get the quality of driver that MSA racing brings for a start, yes you get a couple of good drivers but 2/3 good drivers doesnt make good racing!
DYKC was begining to bring in drivers from other parts of the country, so what does that say?

At the end of the day there was another agenda in my view, simple as. as far as i knew, DYKC paid to teeside what was agreed and had agreed to the terms of the track for next seasons racing fees. so to say they didnt pay the going rate was an attempt to shift the blame onto the club, when infact it wasnt there decision.
The club would have grown and the track would have benefited in both reputation and financially.

i raced there all year last season, both days, practice and race day. The practice day money went to the track, NOT the club and to be honest it wasnt that busy with corporate karts anyway, so we turning up proberbly help the track. As for there being 20 staff, where? at most there were ever no more than 8 people running the show and not more than 4 trackside? so again another attempt to justify their decision?

im gutted that we watsed our time and money for nothing.

i certainally wont be racing at teeside thats for certain.
