Racing under floodlights is absolutely fine. Your eyes adjust, and you just need to make sure that you have a braking point that you can register against.

The atmosphere of racing in the dark is totally different to full daylight. You should try it and whinge about the legalities of suing if there is an accident.

It sounds to me like Rye House should be applauded for ensuring that a meeting finished, and I'll bet that for each whinger, there were at least ten who thought that it was a great way to finish a race meeting.

Well done to those who made it happen!
