It's not just another year, it's somewhat longer.

The MSA statement's 8th paragraph is that the new 'crash tested' standard "... will be mandatory for newly homologated Cadet chassis from 1st January 2011 ...".

Term 'nerwly'is the probelm here. Hence ZIP nose fairings on a 2007 chassis could still be on track until 2016 or so.
