not if he isnt a tall driver he doesnt

charlie, a t10 or t11 vg seat will do the job, t10 is more commonly used (t11 has a different shape to help taller drivers as it changes the centre of gravity). you want a vg seat at this is a soft flexible seat (which you could always stiffen up if needs be - but you shuoldnt need to)

with regards to seating position, fit the seat so it suits you, it needs to fit you like a glove, so that your comfy in the kart and your posture is good, there is no point fitting it to a set of measurements that someone tells you if you dont feel comfy in the kart (or more importantly you dont feel as if you could get used to it or adjust to it) as it will affect your driving. so dont be afraid of fitting it to what suits you if it is slightly different to whatever recommendations you are given, this is what we always do and it works for us and our drivers. dont get too obsessed with measurements

cheers jake
