Regarding the use of CCTV which we all know Shenny has, when I went to the clerk regarding my son being overtaken on a waved yellow at Stratford, the clerk looked at the TV in his office,(not the recorded footage) and just said quote
" The camera is to far away to see anything so I'm going to say the driver must have overtook for safety reasons" unquote.
How can that make sense? the other driver wasn't even called into the office and the recorded footage not even looked at!! Believe me, I am not making this up.
Yes I know offiacials give up their time as was stated at driver breifing (to one blokes embarrasment) but rules are rules, if you have CCTV then make sure it's good enough in the first place , then if there is an issue there is no debate.
