Weird isn't you'd think a) the msa and the cik-fia would be on the same page, b) the msa would like to promote the support in the best light possible, a sport that they purport to promote, and c) I'm sure they will allow it when it suits them.

I have every sympathy with a scrutineer who doesn't then want every man and his dog turning up with grandad's old BBC broadcast camera gaffer taped to his lid, especially in light of surtees and massa, but I'm talking about something self contained lightweight (less than a transponder) no sharp edges, no glass, that will flatten if stood upon. I've even got documentation from the US manufacturer, even the adhesive properties from their adhesive manufacturer.

I shall kick the ball back to the organiser, let them argue the case, after all their interest is in adding value to their championship/stroke and promoting the championship.
