Any driver can go in almost any team. Novice or expert you will have to pay. Usual rates are Ł160 - Ł200 per day for top team, or Ł80 - Ł100 for an up and coming team. Usually a good driver looking for the last few tenths invest in the experience of a team plus the help in fast changes of setup or the rapid Axle change following a crash. For me personally it gives me great satisfaction in beating a team driver.
