Nick,

Come and see me on Saturday or Sunday at the circuit as there is a club race on this weekend. I'll introduce you to a club meeting and talk you through the class I race, TKM. I'll also point you in the direction of the guys that race Rotax Max and Formula Blue and I'm sure they'll do the same for you. I pit on the left hand side just as you enter the circuit. If I'm not there, ask for the Club Chairman, Mike Wellington.

The following weekend there is also an endurance race at Clay Pigeon. That might be worth a look too. I'll be there for that too and I'll talk you through that if you'd like. Endurance is a great way to go racing if you have a small group of friends who are like minded. Alternatively you could join an existing team.

Have a look through previous posts on here for newcomers and consume the advice.

Basically, keep your wallet closed until you have done some research into what is best for you.
