Get well soon Jake, hope the recovery doesnt take too long! He had a nasty crash yesterday at GYG in heat 2 when the muppet decided to visit the tyre wall going pretty fast at the first corner. He hit it with some speed and instantly looked in a fair amount of pain. After a little confusion on what to do flags wise the race was stopped and he was attended to. After a check over he was told to rest up and there was no visable damage to his ankle or leg. Anyways as daft as he is for racing he hobbled about on one leg from the pits to watch the finals!

Sunday night his dad decided to take him to hospital and they discovered he has fractured his leg in a bad place so is now in cast for a while!

Big shame for him as next weekend its the TKM festival and its the meeting he has been looking forward to all year!!! Hes gutted to miss it but will be there watching. your only 11 though Jake theres plenty more festivals for you to race at!

From all at DSG (dean, steve, gem) get well soon little guy!

Also a big thanks to Kym Longley, ex racer now marshalling at GYG, she was first to attend to Jake after sprinting over to him. She was great with him and was the one who called for a red flag shouting medic. Great fast thinking from her and she looked after him well to calm him down, so thanks from dsg and jakes family Kym!
