Yeah , have to say i found that last month when i cleanly fought from 15th to 7th only to have someone punt me off on the second hairpin , on the last lap ...
I am afraid , people in glass houses and all that .
Actually Kelvyn i agree with you , but first you do have to be squeaky clean before starting this kind of thread , and we have all had those days when maybe we went for a lunge that we shouldn't have done .
I for one was thrown from my kart in the March meeting at Rye , it happens ,
I know you commented about racing at PF , but then it was a lunge from a Pf 177 driver that took me out in heat 2 ,
I would agree that the rough and tumble of karting has got worse , Take away the side pods and nose cones and lets put it back to how it was in the good old days .
Having raced cars , and seen the same things happen you'll never stop it , when you put a group of competitive people on a track that are all running within 10th of each other ,it will happen
And my comment earlier wasn't a real dig , it was just to show its happened to me , and it was you .
Come back next month , don't take it all to heart ,and fwiw HKC these days is a well run great club that i feel is getting back to being as it was when i last raced there in the early 90's
Personally i think the officials all deserve a pat on the back with the way they dealt with the red flag incidents in the finals , and i think more often than not we go home without having said thank you to those who make our sport possible on a voluntary basis
