And that was always the original intention that control fuel and pump fuel was close so that there was no need to test on the more important pump fuel if you didn't want to, but control fuel provided a base & spec that could be tested, the variables in pump fuels make this impossible to do!
FA (and to a lesser degree ICA) tuners however where used to the higher spec fuel of CIK racing and therefore their agenda was often different!
My whole point is that some are mixing up spec with quality, totally different!
Just to clarify for you and the Tryton carb fiasco Richard, there was nothing wrong with the fuel at the time only the Carb, Ian brought different specs of fuel to try and help the situation, but not because there was anything wrong with the fuel, only an attempt to deflect the problems of the Tryton at the time, needless to say there were many deflections and not all came from the supplier either!
