So far to date Super 1 has been brilliant....the weather has helped though (nice, hot, dry), John Hoyle has put a lot of thought into making good improvements, rules have been made and ridgidly stuck to.
Nigel Edwards of Stars is a very approachable chap and always listens and tries to understand the problems we seem to be experiencing, as previously stated its the chopping and changing that doesn't help....our Junior drivers were kept on the dummy grid for over 90 mins whilst an appeal was going on, the poor grid marshal was ready for walking due to the embarassment of not being able to help the competitors by giving any information.
We were given someone else's fuel twice !!!
And someone's tyres from Minimax...eeek !
The Junior rotax B final was just 2 races before the Junior rotax A final which meant the top four could not go back to the awning to make changes (no time) when I approached Debbie Sellers first thing Sunday morning to ask if it could be changed I was rudely told that no changes would be made and that is that !
Who is the customer here ???
The interaction between the organisers and the "customer" is very, very poor and were this in the commercial world of business I for one would seek an alternative supplier, however, unless I am able to claim a full refund then I need to see the 2009 season out with the series but we for one will make it the last year of competing with them.
