This weekend was in my opinion as bad as the Kimbolton round. The most worrying part is the tyre and fuel situation, having been given another competitors on a number of occasions. When handing in my own, I took the time to watch it all being returned to its rightful place before leaving parc ferme. To be fair the guys working in there do have to work a long shift, and they all seem nice enough people.
Passes look lovely, but I chose not to carry mine most of the weekend as I wasnt asked to show it once. Only time I got denied access to the grid was for practice on Friday when the front nosecone sticker fell off. Not the best stickers either I must say
Parking was good, just drove in and found a spot for once, although all the spaces worth taking were for the big teams. Does anyone else bother declaring an arrival time on their entry, becuase from what I can see these guys get in days before anyone else
Having raced at Stars for years now, Ive always seen it as a "good show", but unfortunately this year has been all show and no go. Please get over the association with Formula One Management and work on giving us more racing
Quote of the weekend for me - "we have the BBC filming in the paddock today so please have a tidy up round your awning" Most of the filming was probably carried out in the big awnings anyway, so leave us second class citizens alone
