Weekend camps fees for Scouts are often higher than you're average entry fee and Scout Leaders don't get paid either!

The biggest expense for running a club is rent or if no rent is paid then the up keep of the circuit, if you consider the half mile circuit at Wombwell will cost about 80k to resurface next time with a reliable supplier and to keep it in tip top racing condition this needs doing every 10 years, mean time toilets costs fortunes to keep usable (especially with some of the animals that use them and the ladies are often the worse on this issue which baffles us all), to build a nice building like we just have costs £60k etc etc etc

Ambulances with parameds are very expensive running over a thousand for 2 on a weekend, but very worth the cost!

The entry fees are always ploughed back on behalf of the club member so even if you're paying over the odds at some clubs it's your club and you can have your say in how it's spent!

At best officials receive expenses and sometimes it actualy covers their expenses!
