Many thanks for your reply. I will definetely look into changing the wires for a solid rod, I think I'll need to change the pedal as well though because it doesnt have the mounting points on the FRONT of the pedal where rod connect on to, the little "eyes" are on the back side of the pedal.

I'll read and digest the seat fitting guide.
