Having fallen foul of this situation and subsequently found that the ruling was wrongly enforced, I have the utmost sympathy for Larkhall.
Racing could have taken place with just one ambulance, even if it had to leave the cicuit, you could suspend racing until it returned.
Not every official knows the rules unfortunately.
Larkhall must have been mortified when they found themselves in this situation.
Things do go wrong in a spectacular way sometimes.
No club wants this type of publicity and I have every sympathy with them and the competitors who had travelled so far.
It's up to Larkhall to try to find a solution that may suit the entrants who missed out on their racing, but whatever idea they come up with, it will not satisfy everone.
Larkhall needs support over this and it is inevitable that those who were inconvenienced will want to voice ther opinion.
