actually, there is a chassis already in homologation for tkm that might do the trick.
the haase tkm was basically a chassis designed for torsion bars etc(if memory serves me right,it was used with success in america for a formula yamaha class) but they were left off to fit homologation and a smaller axle was attatched.it was so unchanged that the first time i went out in it the bottom of the chassis was scraping on the floor because they hadnt tried it with the maxxis tyres.
needless to say,the kart wasnt great and im pretty sure i was the only person to stick with it for the whole year.we got it going ok in the dry eventually (seat really far back and seat stays)and it was fantastic in the wet.what it really needed was that torsion bar in the front as it was way too soft in the dry(i have a photo of me at whilton mill my brother took where the rear wheel was lifted so much that you could have put a whole other tyre under the gap!)
anyway, all this talk of CIK chassis and homologations reminded me that the haase could be revived as an interim possibly as all the lugs for extra bars are still there on the chassis :)
