Whilst I can understand your concern with regards to spending more money I can only forsee the following......

We (like many in this sport) also run on a budget...I'm fortunate (or unfortunate) to be a single dad and pour all my resources into my lads choosen "hobby", I dont smoke, don't go on the pi$$ with the lads at weekend, no fancy holidays and can't remember the last time I went shopping for new clothes Lol.... This is where what finances Ive got.....go !

Now....we have ALL spent more than what we should on chasing a "better" engine and thats a fact of life and whatever class your in (I remember wtp's changing from B1 pull start to B5 electric start and Mills saying with the weight difference they would be equal RUBBISH....never were, never will be, so I and many others with TOP B1 engines were paupers overnight due to their worthlessness).....however, due to a NEW manufacturing process the NEW 09 Rotax engines/barrels seem to be "good"....WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT and yes we need to spend a little more money BUT these new engines/barrels do seem to make all LEVEL AND EQUAL....

So the question to now ask is.....

That being the case, lets now see who is fast and who ISN'T as fast anymore !

Time and results will tell !
