Ok the engine in question and mentioned above was used by Gavin Pitt. It performed perfectly in Gavins extremely competant hands. The engine was run at the correct weight. Gavin struggled for pace due to the bottom end having no endfloat, Motor not fisched and also being on the first bore (50.6mm). The track was much quicker at the end of the day than the beginning (when the Tag was put away. I would say 4 tenths to be more realistic, which puts them on parr all things being considered. Gavin will prove this once his tag is big bored / fisched. (next week)
