There is now only one heat/final allowed on the dummy grid area at any one time. The next grid waits in a caged holding area between the burger van and the front of the dummy grid. Only one driver and one mechanic is allowed in the dummy grid area and the mechanic must leave the area when the kart does (I think, but I was obviously driving). The area that used to form the entrance to the dummy grids is now a convenient trolley park. On the whole, I think the new start line has really slowed the pack down as we all pile into Billys. I feel a lot more comfortable about the starts now.
Rob, it will be good to see matt back at clay. With S1 on 27/28 June and the Chris Hart/Robert Bailey memorial meeting on 14 June, it will start getting even busier in TKM now not that we need others as we have a good grid of seniors already.
