Chris,

Firstly well done for getting through.

Presumably the format without heats is because of (what) parc ferme regs thereby not giving enough time or something else.

At the end of the day there probably isn't a perfect format. Take S1 for example and I voted 2 years ago to move to the new format. But at least with heats if you get good points and have a coming off in the final it's not so bad as let's say winning the heats, starting pole for the pre-final and coming off, finishing dead last, getting low points and starting at the back of the main final.

I appreciate there are pros and cons to everything but when I raced I wanted as much track time as in heats etc as possible.

I guess the format for the weekend isn't the same for the entire season or is it?
