I have just purchased a new battery after all my others have seemed to have suffered a bit over winter. I want to look after this one so first want to find out what the deal is with charging. There seems to be a few theories with some people charging them a few times a month and others putting them on trickle charge 24/7.

1. I have the rotax brand charger, the one with the light which turns red to green. Is this up to the job or should I sell and upgrade?? If so, what to?

2. How often should I charge it?
