Most teams either use a seat insert covered in lead (if the weight needs to be removed for individual drivers). The insert is basically an old seat with the sides removed, this is then held in position with two retaining clips or cable tied onto the seat.
Alternatively if the weight doesn't have to be removed it is attaced to the side or back of the seat.
We run 15kgs on an inner seat and upto 10kgs on chassis posts for our lightest driver, then remove it all for our heaviest.
