Sorry - didn't mean to be difficult - it's just that I don't think this forum should encourage people to run before they can walk as that would not be safe for them or their fellow competitors.
If someone is considering competing at this level it should not just be about the cheque book but also having the appropriate experience . I don't agree that Stars is more "professional" than S1 and would be interested to know on what judgement that could be based on. The advice I would give is that anyone considering these competitions should get themselves along to both as spectators and watch how things are organised , talk to teams and also work out wha is best value based on what your achievement objectives are .
