Warden Law prokarts continues to be one of the best supported sprint series in the country (see 4stroke forum). The grid is split into 2 classes - Pro and Clubman and the racing remains close and fair (sensible race officials = no modifications permitted). Race day is 1st Sunday of each month and while non-MSA it remains to be run to an extremely high standard without loosing sight of the fact that we are there to enjoy ourselves. You should come along and see for yourself (WF is all but dead).
I haven't seen any recent Formula 1 chassis, however, there have been a few still around in recent times. These have tended to be fairly old and cumbersome and therefore not very quick. Front running chassis tend to be MS, 7Kart and Wright. If you look through the market place on this site you will get an idea of likely cost, however, you can spend as much as you want (as with all classes in karting) depending on age, past history, motors and spares. In fact there was one lad local to you that was retiring (absolutely nothing to do with me save for having met the chap a couple of times).
If you want any further specific information please feel free to email me on r.graeme.macfarlane@virgin.net Otherwise, see you in a couple of weeks (prokart 13 - or maybe 43!!)
