rather than use the method shown in the video there is a slightly didderent way that i put them back on
firstly put the tyre over rim at a slight angle and turn so that the first side goes on
Now put the wheel onto the floor (carpet) so that the side you want to get on is facing upwards, push the tyre under the rim and then hold it in place with your knee. With your hands you should be able to work the tyre under the rim by pushing it down next to your knee and working around the tyre.
Don't push the tyre too far down the rim, or it won't go on, you might need a few attempts to get it right, but it does become easier once you get the "nack" - basically you're doing what the tongs would do, but with your hands
(if you are racing be carefull what lubricant/soap you use to put the tyres on, it may set the sniffers off)
