I think we will give it a miss this weekend,(tongue in cheek.) Firstly I should add we are very new to karting and very keen. So, a fortnight ago we found Womwell, eventually, serious lack of directions, small logo, little discrete arrow.... something would have been nice. But we arrived at 11 just in time to kick some snow off the track, great we were immediatly involved. So this week we made our excuses to Wife and big sister and off we went to Stragglethorpe to see some more karting. A couple of nameless people explained we can not miss it, Stragglethorpe is a very small town. 100 miles later we arrived at Stragglethorpe and immediatly found the.... a .... very nice kart track, the only thing on it was my disappointed 10 year old and a fast rabbit! So we drove back to Leeds. Yes, we know the karting was practically just over the hedge, and in actual fact we saw the roof's of the trucks, but thought it was just another camp site. When we eventually get to race will there be arrows and signs around the track making it clear which way to go(no thats not a serious question.) I can understand you dont want every Tom Dick and Harry trawling off the passing road but perhaps a small karting logo on a small piece of fleurecent card 1 mile away and another on the gate would not hurt. Yes, Fulbeck we will be back, just not this weekend.
