We race Comer at Forest Edge in a Libra grid, I'd say any of the three cadet classes for this track. Reasonable numbers of each racing.

At Llandow I'm not sure, probably Comer or Honda.

At Rissy I would think Comer or WTP, as the track does not really suit the Honda.

Clay Pigeon always seem to have good Comer grids, with fewer Honda and WTP racing separately.

Further north, Shenington and Whilton Mill are almost all Comers, so Honda's are not an option here.

Also consider Camberley, which is a good track to start at and learn racing skills. We race Comer and WTP there, Honda's race with the WTP's and are fairly equal.

I'd recommend Honda if you want your racing slightly more consistent and a bit cheaper, but this would limit where you can race competitively, unless you consider racing further east, like Bayford and Buckmore. The tracks I'd choose for Honda would be Forest Edge and Clay Pigeon, maybe Llandow and Camberley as a good learner track as well.

For Comer or WTP anywhere except the Kent clubs, which is mostly Honda dominated.

The 'newer' Tryton carbs for the Comer are much better, more reliable and easier to adjust. As for engine rebuild costs for Comer engines, we have ours rebuilt at approx. 12 hours. 0-2 hours and 8-12 hours used for testing and 2-8 hours for racing, maybe a ring fitted at 5 hours. If you were racing at two clubs, with two engines, the engines would need to be rebuilt once in a year, maybe longer. We have one 'slow' engine which hasn't been bebuilt for about 20 or so hours, which we use for practicing and wet weather, so you can stretch rebuild intervals.
