The previous CofC at Llandow put in a very high kerb at the entry of The Hook and we thought he "spoiled" the corner because we couldn't "grass" it anymore.
We also thought that no one will ever touch the new vicious beast!
It only lasted until first time the TKM-2T's came over with the 1st round of Motors-TV in '07. I was Marshall at MP1 (the Hook) and I couldn't believe how much kerb the TKM's were taking. Nor how much they were flying off it and subsequently digging into the tarmac mid corner on landing. You can still see the scars.
No other class uses that kerb as it is too vicious and upsets the kart too much. Not the case for TKM though, and they are faster over it than going around!!!

So Ian, I know subject has been crowbar-ed in again, but you are not right about it. Some places the kerbs are on the race line whatever the size/shape, on others they are totally off-limits.
