The Aixro is NOT a 'beast'! It does NOT roar.. it does NOT bite and it CAN be driven by USELESS drivers!
It's NOT like a 125 GBox kart which is TRULY 'beastly' (but glorious!). 125GBs are NOTORIOUS for their VISCIOUSNESS that you would NEVER (sensibly) allow a beginner to driver as they WILL hit the scenery!
The Aixro is actually VERY tame simply because it is SO controllable and SO 'Linear'! You get EXACTLY as much acceleration as you ASK for... if you only want a litle.... you can GET a little. However... if you ask for it ALL... BOY do you GET it!
The 125Gbs are NOT like that... and earlier ones were even MORE NON Linear! It used to be the case that full throttle at 8,750 rpm would deliver about 12bhp...... if you left your foot FULL on the throttle as it passed in to 9,000 rpm and above.... it delivered FORTY FIVE BHP like you'd lit the fuse of a ROCKET! Trying to learn to DTIVE an earlier 125Gb moving from 12bhp to 45bhp without changing your throttle position and only increasing the revs by about 50rpm required the driver to have B*LLS of steel! The trick was to sgtay ABOVE 9,000 rpm.... but that was VERY difficult for beginners as you had 6 geasr from which to select and it was SO easy to 'fall off' the powerband! You needed skill AND experience to be able to STAY within the power band!
The Aixro is NOT like that! Full throttle at 3,000 rpm delivers an almost IDENTICAL THRUST to full throttle at 9500rpm! That's the MOST notable thing (other than the raw power.... of course), it is ALL THOROUGHLY PREDICTABLE and CONTROLABLE!
The power is available, any time, any where at ANY revs!
A good way of thinking of the Aixro is that it is as EASY to drive as a Prokart! The only difference is that it is a prokart... with TWENTY motors! ... and the handling of an FA... and the brakes beyond ANYTHING other than a GBox kart...... but a light one!
So far, EVERYBODY who has driven one (in my earshot) has got off the kart GIBBERING!..... and grinning!
