So.... Miffy.... what's the problem?
You've seen what is raced. You've spoken to other racers. You know what you can afford and you can easily find out what each cost ROUGHLY? How can WE advise you when we don't know all of those things?
If you haven't done so yet, pick the class that ROUGHLY seems to suit you and offer your services to clean and polish and push for FREE for the next race FOR someone in that class. Spend the day with them buying the teas and sarnies, standing on the dummy grid (naughty!) and picking up all the info you can. Then, ask around is anyone has got something to sell WITHIN that class and ask your news friends to advise you if it is good value for money. Ask if they will advise you on something through a 'normal' advert. If you have been a decent bloke, they may WELL be willing to come with you to see the advertised kart.
What you'll find is that the local track, the people you meet and your budget will pick the class FOR you! You then 'usee your friends at the track to help you (with advice) to BUY it! You'll then also have people in your class to set-up 'beside' at you OWN first race! Having friendly 'experts' beside you on that FIRST day is worth a TON of cash!
