Today January 16th, 2009, at 9:30 the meeting took place for election of President of the CBA., Cleyton Pinteiro was elected president for the period of 2009 to 2012. It was a total defeat for Paul Scaglione who did everything to stay in office, but failed & left in disgrace.It is the end of the worst car/kart period in Brazil, the end of the dictatorship and the beginning of motorsport democracy. The new president has already announced that all people of the karting section (Pedro Sereno and controlled) will be changed.

Amongst other things Mr Scaglione unsucessfully tried to cancel the Biland world finals in march 2008. He has single handedly brought brasilian karting to its knees. Thankfully he is now history. Rene
