I'm overhauling my TonyKart ProKart, It's all stripped down to the bare chassis and need to get the brakes sorted now I've taken them off. Its got the OTK twin master cylinders (without the reservoir on top- I think thats the older non self-adjusting type) and a non-original Kart Components rear caliper. I've never bled brakes of any sort (kart car or bike), so how do I do it? Looking at all the components, there doesn't seem to be anything that I'd recognise as a bleed nipple, so what do I do? Fill the system, pump it and slack off one of the fittings until it looks as if there's no air leaking out and tighten up..or what? The brakes were working OK before I stripped the chassis, but I found it's missing a circlip on the end of the master cylinder -I discovered that when I took off the red rubber boot and the piston and the fluid came out! I've got plenty of other stuff to sort first, but in the next week I'm going to have to put all this back together again...help!!
