Avago is right. Everyone would spend as much as they can afford too. The funny thing is. If people do spend 10k on a motor does it matter? I don't care. If You do well your kit goes up in value. So u maybe on a small budget but you could sell your motor for 10k and that's your yearly budget for karting sorted for next year.
My current motor is really good and if anyone wants to offer 4k for it they can have it. Simple as that. As that's what's the motor is worth.

P.s Gavin - I think the best money spent was on Josh's helmet. He seems to drive with alot more confidence since it was done!
