Unusually, I am not alone in this campaign. Other people support it too! That feels most peculiar. I am quite used to not getting ANY support!
However, we have covered all the arguments 'ad infinitum' until we have arrived at the point where:-
* No one has suggested anything which negates the argument that we should abide by the rules as written..... or change them!
* No one has shown that we DON'T need some form of rule about what is 'track' and what is NOT 'track'.
* No one has shown why the use of 'white lines' shouldn't work! It works in ALL (errr..... the vast majority of) other sports!
For me, that PROVES the point..... for you.... it doesn't! I can't even START to comprehend why.... but....
C'est la vie!
I'll drop it, formally, here!
......until the next person who whines that:-
* they were beaten by someone cheating by cutting a corner * they got penalised for cutting corners * they damaged their chassis on a kerb * or until the insurance companies discover EXACTLY what is going on in karting!
At least we all now KNOW that there IS no place on the track where you CANNOT go on every SINGLE lap.
However, we also now know that depending on the phase of the moon, the length of the grass, the number of letters in the month and some other un-knowables that one or two CoCs will penalise for 'EXCESSIVE' kerb riding......
Your task....should you choose to accept it.... is to GUESS where, when and who.... good luck!
Don't worry because being a 'local' or 'family' won't make ANY difference with MOST CoCs...... They will rule against/for you fairly....... However, some others ........
