Then DO it! Re-write the rule or cancel it and stop hanging about!

However, we both know WHY it hasn't been:- because it CAN'T be done!

It can't be done for MANY reasons, not least becasuse your insurance companies will HAVE A FIT if you tell them that you are allowing racing on ANY part of the site REGARDLESS of whether it is on the 'track' or not! When they find you allow, nay ENCOURANGE the use of saw-tooth concrete KERBS as a usaable part of the track.... they will FAINT!

When they finally have a claim made through someone injured BECAUSE of the regular 'use' of such a kerb (e.g, unluckily catching the floor tray on a 'saw tooth' and badly injuring their legs) Then YOU will have a fit when THEY refuse to PAY the claim on the basis that they insured you to run races WITHIN THE RULES LAID DOWN! If you have allowed and ENCOURAGED people to BREAK those rules...... you are NOT going to be INSURED!!!!!

We HAVE to have a concept LIKE the 'white line' or else there is NO WAY to declare what IS track and what ISN'T!

You COULD still allow people to USE the kerbs: you simply have to paint the white line OUTSIDE the kerbs! Just check if it's ok with the insurance companies first!

However, whatEVER the rules is changed to, it MUST be enforced or else you have the Rye House MIXED rules in play where juping FIVE FEET outside the track is accaptable in ONE place bu crossing ANOTHER wite line in a different place IS penalized!

The claim that it CAN'T be enforced is a JOKE! Pay my travelling expenses and I'll come to YOUR next race with a video camera (just as PERSONAL proof). Give me a walkie-talkie and declare me a 'judge of fact' and I will provide you a LIST of the drivers who REPEADTEDLY cross the white line on a specific corner so that YOU can black flag them before the end of the race.

Let me dso that for the WHOLE MEETING and I guarantee you we wil have REDUCED 'white-lining' byu the end of the day!

This is NOT rocket science!

By the way, you didn't leave your number the other day. Call me again to discuss that matter. Happy to help at any point! I spent part of Saturday evening dealing with the problem of noise in our Hall!
