We were called in after the cadet b final. My lad was t-boned at christmas corner by a lad who had come from about 4 kart lengths behind, we were 5th and catching 4th for a place in the a final. Admittedly we'd had a bad day and should have been further up the grid but. . The coc asked my lad to explain his contact on the other driver, which the other drivers team had complained about, both speechless at this point the coc had to prompt an answer from my lad, who gave his version of the lad driving into the side of him in no hope of making a clean pass attempt. I should at this point add the other drivers team is the one single handedly destroying the comer cadet class, the ones above the law. We asked to sit in on the talk with the other driver but were refused. Another concern was earlier in the day i heard the 'no 1' team in cadet racing telling a new driver on yellow plates that if he was struggling to get past a driver he should line them up and fire them off into a corner, and we wonder why driving standards are so bad.
