It's nice to find you an I agreeing on something, RoadRat! I would agree with your view of increasingly 'rough' kerbs. I think the argument against that is that it would increase the chance of a 'launch' incident for someone who is 'going off' too quickly! It's the reason why we seem to have cut down of tyres on the apexes or having CLIFF kerbs!
We COULD do it with 'armco' at wheel eight all the way round the track like at Monaco....... that wouldn't be too popular, either!
Remember, however, you are arguing with people who feel that..... well...... anyone should be allowed to decide where THEY feel the edge of the track exists and that trying to find a common agreement on where that point occurs, is somehow, 'anally retentive'!
