Tennis has markings and allows the players outside.

Also, if going over the curbs is such a crime, why have so many tracks added additional grasscrete, or other surface reinforcement outside the curbs on so many corners. Rowrah, Whilton and PF all top tracks, all have this on various corners where karts tend to run wide; even wider than the kerbs.

I have only once heard of the threat to inforce the running over the white line rule, at Shenington where drivers were warned not to run wide coming out of Cafe corner. On the whole all drivers ignored it and no one got penalised.
