I see..... asking for the rules to be ENFORCED is 'taking something to the Nth degree' is it?

Rubbish! Of COURSE there are shortcuts where even a fat old GIT like ME could take the lap record!

The REASON why drivers use the kerbs is becasue it's FASTER...... and that is BECAUSE they are taking a SHORTS CUT!

How can you POSSIBLY suggest that the lap records have been 'set' WITHOUT drivers taking SHORTCUTS?????????? Of COURSE they have been! There's not a SOUL out there who could REMAIN within the REAL confines of the track and STILL manage to break or equal the EXISTING lap records!

The width of the kerbs going into 'new pylon' are a COMPLETE 'give away'. If you DIDN'T expect drivers to use them..... why would they be 6 FEET WIDE???????? Why are they KERBS and why aren't they TRACK???????

The explanation of the word was for anyone ELSE who is silly enough to read what we write! I assumed that YOU'D know the meaning of the word but that we also were NOT having a 'private' conversation.
