2-strokes have the drive on the rhs of the engine. Honda's have the drive on the lhs.

A 2-stroke chassis will have a rail going behind the seat at an angle that means you cannot (usually) put a sprocket inboard of the rhs bearing mount.

Some chassis can take both engines in the traditional rhs mounting position but these are usually newer chassis and consequently demand a higher price. If if you're not looking to pay too much for an outfit you need to look at "older" Honda outfits (that would still be legal and reasonably competitive for a novice or for fun). It really depends how much you want to spend.
