I saw this incident after coming to a halt off circuit and just past marshall post driver sat in kart ,the marshalls were right to not leave their post ,you could see they radiod as the chief marshall immediatly moved toward situation waved yellows were in place at both posts one lap was left on race leader only passed incident once and then took flag on next lap by which time kart and driver were moved to safety and medic was on site good safe marshalling and no need for red flag.In one cadet race two drivers contacted and stopped outside of last corner both drivers got out of karts and jumped tyres ,marshall went to check on drivers and was verbally abused by father of one driver for not allowing him on circuit to move kart kept shouting even when marshall was asking if his driver needed medic and was ok .marshall tried to calm father and cleared karts to infield ,next lap kart span out right where previous crash, so was right on not letting others on track that were not signed on wit no high vis and not a blooming clue ,I wonder why marshalls bother to give up time to stand in some of the worst conditions with only 15min break to stuff down food and drink go back to get hammered on all day and then knocked on here.I just hope they have thick skins and keep coming back they must love the sport !!!!!!!!!
