All the cadet classes in the UK are controlled to fundamentally the same average lap time. Although the Comer is talked off as the benchmark for this it is really the Honda because that is the engine with no headroom to increase performance.

The only thing increasing speed does is increase the forces at the point of impact in an accident, racing a TKM is just as skilled and fun as racing KF1 or KZ1. Both the MSA and the ABkC are 100% behind keeping the speed of cadets controlled to this level for safety reasons.
